"Optleaf" is a film used to measure cumulative solar radiation and cumulative photon flux. By determining the degree of fading of the film's dye due to sunlight, the fading rate is converted into cumulative solar radiation and cumulative photon flux using a calibration curve. This enables measurements that were difficult with conventional solar radiation meters. A dedicated portable measuring device that allows for convenient use of the solar radiation film "Optleaf" will be released in April 2018.
